This Policy applies to all users of the Kavkazland Platform, including Travelers, Travel Experts, and visitors.
Kavkazland operates as a marketplace connecting Travelers with independent Travel Experts. In the course of providing this service, we collect and process personal data about you. We are committed to handling this data responsibly and transparently, in accordance with applicable data protection laws including Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" (for Russian users).
By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We also retain data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements. Some data (such as booking records) may need to be retained for longer periods for tax and legal compliance purposes under applicable Russian law.
Identity documents. Passports, national ID cards and guide credentials uploaded for verification are needed to make the verification decision, not afterwards. We delete the uploaded file automatically 90 days after that decision is made, whether it was approved or rejected. We keep only the record that verification took place — the date, the outcome and the type of document — never the image itself. A document still awaiting a decision is not deleted.
We take the security of your personal data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive data, access controls, and regular security reviews.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal data in accordance with applicable law, including ensuring that any such transfers comply with the requirements of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ regarding cross-border data transfers.

We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Policy on the Platform and updating the "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email.
